Danju Aboriginal Field Crew
We can provide a trained working crew to undertake on-ground work activities in the fields of land care work, conservation projects and forestry. Through the Danju Program, the Leschenault Catchment Council can undertake small or large projects and have demonstrated the ability to provide high quality results.
Landcare and Environmental Projects
A healthy catchment needs a healthy surrounding environment, and we take a holistic approach to Natural Resource Management with project interests in multiple realms; terrestrial, aquatic and estuarine. Community and Education outreach
As a community-led, not-for profit organisation, many of our projects include community involvement. We regularly hold community educational events and workshops and love being part of such a vibrant community and encouraging everyone to become more involved in caring for this land.
We can assist with the following community related activities: design and delivery of community consultation processes; friends of reserve group support and coordination; community event coordination and delivery; community education program design and delivery.
Ecological Consulting
The Leschenault Catchment Council engages professional environmental staff available to provide expert advice and delivery for the following landcare and environmental services: Natural area biodiversity mapping, planning and management; Flora and fauna surveys and threat assessment; Revegetation and weed management planning; Landscaping, verge design and species lists; Urban gardens and water quality best practice policy development; Offset site restoration and management.
