Calling for Nominations - Join the LCC Board
Are you passionate about protecting the natural environment and ready to contribute your skills to a thriving community-focused organisation?
The Leschenault Catchment Council is seeking committed individuals to join our volunteer Board.
We would love to hear from you if you –
are committed to safeguarding the environment;
have expertise in environmental management, organisational governance (e.g. business and financial management), or skills in profile raising, fundraising or community engagement;
want to help a successful, not-for-profit landcare organisation continue to grow;
and live in the Leschenault Catchment.
As a member of the LCC Board, you'll play a vital role in guiding the strategic direction of our organisation, working closely with staff to deliver projects that restore landscapes and strengthen community connections. The Board meets monthly on a volunteer basis.

Board Members for 2025 will be formally endorsed at our Annual General Meeting on Wednesday 11 December 2024.

The Leschenault Catchment Council (LCC) is a not-for profit, grassroots community incorporated association, committed to the long-term environmental protection and enhancement of the lands, waters and coast of the Leschenault Catchment in the southwest of Western Australia.
We are committed to respectful and active engagement with Aboriginal culture and collaboration with Aboriginal groups; strong community engagement and inclusion; strategic action through collaborative partnerships; and best practice landcare, based on reliable conservation science.
Our organisation has been operating in the Leschenault catchment for over two decades. We know the environment, the management issues and the challenges. We have professional staff with extensive experience in best practice natural resource management, community engagement and consultation, and knowledge of research and innovation in the sector.
We have a proven track record of rehabilitation and restoration projects across the catchment, with positive outcomes for both the community and environment.
